Official Tournament Website, MEAChoops.com, Includes New Design and Unique Coverage of Ancillary Events Streamline Technologies has partnered with the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) to launch a new design, including the addition of several interactive features, for its official men's and women's basketball tournament website, www.MEAChoops.com. "We are excited to unveil a new look for our MEAChoops.com website and hope the new features will provide visitors with a easier way of keeping up to date on information regarding the MEAC Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament," said MEAC Commissioner Dennis Thomas. MEAChoops.com will continue to provide visitors with tournament and ancillary events, including tickets, hotel accommodations, tournament brackets, and live statistics. The website's new features include the addition of photo galleries, various social networking options, enhanced sponsorship opportunities and a special section highlighting the annual MEAC cheerleading championship. The 2010 MEAC Basketball Tournament tips off on March 8-13 at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. About the MEAC Basketball Tournament The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), a NCAA Division I Conference, is in its 38th year of operation heading into the 2008-2009 academic school year. The MEAC Basketball Tournament is a single elimination championship playoff that involves Division I historically black colleges and universities located across the Atlantic coastline: Bethune-Cookman, Coppin State, Delaware State, Florida A&M, Hampton, Howard, Maryland Eastern Shore, Morgan State, Norfolk State, North Carolina A&T State, South Carolina State, and Winston-Salem State. The tournament is played at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Both the men's and women's champion will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
