Monday, February 22, 2010 Streamline Technologies Launches New Athletic Site for Bemidji State University 
Bemidji State University and Streamline Technologies have partnered to launch a new athletics web site. The new home of Beaver Athletics is officially online today at www.BSUBeavers.com. BSU's new site was developed to have a new look and unique design, while incorporating several innovative features to allow for quick and easy navigation. "Our web site has served its purpose over the last 10 years, but we were due for a re-design," commented BSU Director of Athletic Media Relations Brad Folkestad. "We truly feel that this site will allow fans of BSU Athletics to feel closer to the action." "We are very excited to work with Bemidji State on its new athletic web site," said Alex Short, President of Streamline Technologies. "The new site offers several custom-designed elements that will make it easier than ever for BSU fans to follow all their teams in action." Some of the new features include live and archived video capabilities, a featured news block with rotating photos, a photo gallery, audio archive with weekly "This Week at BSU" features, a news option to follow the Office of Athletic Media Relations' most recent Twitter posts and a composite schedule complete with a promotional itinerary. In addition, the site framework will allow the BSU Athletics web site to move to a much more robust content management system. About Bemidji State University Athletics Bemidji State offers 17 varsity sports, with 15 competing at the NCAA Division II level as members of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and two, its men's and women's ice hockey programs, competing at the NCAA Division I level. Its women's team is currently a member of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, while the men's team resides in College Hockey America, but will join the women as members of the WCHA beginning July 1, 2010.
